SHAPING THE FUTURE FOR MICHIGAN CHILDREN
A Leader in Public Policy
Michigan CASA is a leading advocate for child welfare, driving public policy reforms to improve the lives of children in foster care. Through its dedicated network of volunteers, Michigan CASA ensures children’s voices are heard in legal proceedings while advocating for systemic changes that enhance foster care services and protect children’s rights. By collaborating with lawmakers and child welfare professionals, Michigan CASA is a key force in shaping policies that promote safer, more supportive environments for children across the state.
CASAs are appointed by a family court judge to be the voice of that child in court. CASAs are supported by a professional team and go through specialized training. If you have room in your heart to change the life of an abused or neglected child we would love to have you become part of Michigan CASA.
