Patty Sabin appointed to the Governor’s Task Force on Child Abuse and Neglect

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Patty Sabin, President/CEO of Michigan CASA to the Governor’s Task Force on Child Abuse and Neglect.  The Governor's Task Force is a multidisciplinary task force from across the State of Michigan driven to improve the handling of Child Abuse and Neglect cases. The Task Force is charged with the review and evaluation of state investigative, administrative, and both civil and criminal judicial handling of cases of child abuse and neglect, and the making of policy and training recommendations.   Sabin responds, “It is an honor to serve the Governor and the State of Michigan as well as Michigan CASA in this capacity.  The child welfare system in this state is fraught with challenges.  To work side by side with the state’s finest in finding solutions will be a privilege”.
