Giving Tuesday 2022!

As you may know, Michigan CASA is charged with coordinating the work of 29 county-based CASA/GAL programs throughout the state. We help the programs recruit and retain volunteers, ensure standards-based training for new volunteers, and encourage collaboration, problem solving, and sharing across programs. We do this so that, together, we can reach more children who have been made wards of the court because of abuse and neglect.

We have recently opened a new program in Huron County and have moved Wayne County CASA from a court-annexed to a nonprofit status. Under its new operating framework, Wayne County will expand operations and serve more children and families. We are also responsible for launching CASA programs in unserved areas of the state and are currently working to establish three new county programs.

Our goal is to have a CASA program in all 83 counties in Michigan. Your donation will help make that happen!
